Import & Export

Supported file formats, and how to migrate existing spreadsheets, documents, and decks.

Supported formats

Sheets imports and exports .xlsx and .csv. Docs imports and exports .docx and Markdown. Slides imports and exports .pptx. All conversions happen locally — files never leave your device during import or export.

Importing existing files

Drag a file onto the Studio home screen, or use File → Import from within any app. Apeirogon preserves formatting, formulas, and structure wherever the target format supports it, and flags anything it couldn't fully convert.

Batch migration

If you're moving a large existing library of files, use File → Import Folder in any app to convert an entire directory at once. This is a good first step when switching from another office suite.
