What 'unlimited' actually means in Apeirogon Studio

A lot of products say 'unlimited' and mean 'unlimited until we decide otherwise.' Soft caps, throttled response times after a threshold, and fine-print fair-use policies are common enough that the word has lost most of its meaning in software pricing.

We can make an unusual promise because of how Apeirogon is built: since inference runs on your hardware, there's no shared server capacity for us to protect you from. Using Apeirogon more doesn't cost us more, so there's nothing to meter.

We think pricing should be honest about what it's actually restricting. In our case, that's features, not usage.
